Monument Market & Capital Lounge
A 2,700 sqft open space for lunch, private meetings, small group events as well as Tenant Engagement Events... it is also a comfortable place to relax and take a break (or for distraction free focus on special projects). This lounge is available on a non-reserved basis. The hours of the Capital Lounge are 24/7, equipped with Wi-Fi and two televisions. As well as food services provided by Monument Market.
Monument Market is a food vending service that keeps our lounge stocked with quick snacks, water, sodas, inexpensive meal replacements and is operated by an unattended automated kiosk, which is a "trust based" service. Nationally, there is a 1.0% average theft rate with this type of service. Our most recent monthly reports have showed a 21% increase in non-payment transactions.
It is our intent to lower the most recent theft increase at Capital Lounge with additional efforts that are now in place:
- Vendor has increased the camera quality and repositioned the 24/7 surveillance.
- Non-payment Video reports will be generated monthly.
- Tenant / Employee Identification during Non-Transaction video recordings.
- Non-Transaction Charge fees of $25.00 per occurrence.
- Appropriate Course of Action to any Repeat offenders.
We believe that with your awareness to this increase, and your ability to share this information with your teams, we can bring this percentage down and continue to offer this food service for all to use.
